Scared about wisdom teeth removal?

I'm 14 years old, and I just recently went to the Oral Surgeon to see if I needed my Wisdom Teeth removed. I do. I'm actually really scared about this, and I don't wanna go under anesthesia, and I've never had surgery on my mouth before, and I'm just really scared. Can anyone tell me if it's as scary as I think, if it hurts, and how long the swelling will last?
