Is it possible to get a job through ROTC even without prior work experience?

I may be facing the unfortunate circumstance of going into college without any prior work experience. I have some leadership, good grades and volunteering but I'm wondering if joining the ROTC (for reasons other than just getting a job, of course) can help me secure a safe, eventual income even if I've never worked before. Thanks.
