How to tell if a girl is playing hard to get or simply not interested?

Theres this girl I'm not sure abt. We met at a bar, I asked for her no., she gave it to me and said "call me". After a week I called her back, we had casual convo. Asked her for a date, she kept shooting me down, making excuses. So I thought ok that's it she isn't interested and stopped calling(only twice), now she texts me with mundane topic, I replied back the same and after a day she replies back with the same mundane boring ****!! Am I being played here??
