Does my writing fit in with today's "Literary Age"?

I've been doing some research on Literary Theory, and I've come to realize that the most recent era is the postmodern era. Now my question is: I'm writing a novel that, in a way, is a hybrid of modernism and post modernism leaning a bit more towards modernism structure. Do you think this could fit in and become a great success or is it to "archaic" or "so last era" boring? I understand that success mostly relies on talent and marketable content, but I'm just wondering if my writing structure is to mundane or cliche
