Does anyone out there believe that Jesus ever had a good time?
Based on the way his followers act at my church I would suggest that he didn't. Shouldn't a leader be known by the qualities of his followers? Qualities which induce relief in others rather than guilt and shame? I have been raised by a southern baptist family and when I go to church if feels as if I am a piece of cardboard sitting upon a pew while listening to a boring and mundane preacher spew off about how we will all burn in hell without Jesus while half of these uptight and hippocritical a-aholes are just enduring the sermon to pacify their loved ones before everyone joins together singing these cheezy little feel good Jesus songs and then packing into their suv's and heading to the nearest mom and pop restaurant where the server will get stiffed since the host put all the money in the donation basket. Wow, that stikes me as a good time huh? How enlightening is that? Is walking on water and turning water into wine the best that the son of God could do? Has he every said anything remotely funny besides "I love you." That the one that gets me every time. Imagine, your burning in a boiling pit of defecation which is hotter than 10 million suns and persists throughout eternity simply for not knowing the right way to believe and you remember the guy who had been sent down here by his skydaddy to go on a suicide mission to save you of your sins while knowing that choosing the right religion is like winning the lottery. While your burning in hell do you feel that it brings you comfort to know that Jesus love you? Christians who believe that others deserve to go to hell for not sharing their beliefs are sadistic human beings who cannot back their beliefs up with anything besides "Duhhh, cuz the bible told me so." Why dont you people expand your narrow and arrogant minds for once and learn to co-exist in the real world?
